History
Richard Drummond Davis Architect, Inc. was established in Dallas, Texas in 1977. The firm initially focused on eclectic designs, blending classical forms with contemporary use of space. With each new project, clients requested increasing fidelity to classical architectural forms, and the firm began to gain recognition for homes inspired by period European architecture.
Since then, the firm has designed more than 400 residences in a broad range of styles and building types including: authentic English and French estates, award-winning expansion and remodel of historic buildings, and sophisticated urban town-homes.
Commercial projects include: Ottley’s Plantation Inn on the Island of St. Kitts, B.W.I, and redevelopment of a dated commercial building into a high-fashion dinner club. Recently the firm designed the clubhouse and service buildings for Dallas National Golf Club, complementing a world-class course designed by Tom Fazio.
